Here at Cleveland High School, we are very proud of our teachers, staff, and students for their dedication and hard work.  Our students have scored some of the highest scores on state testing in Blount County.  Our teachers work countless hours preparing our Juniors for ACT by providing tutoring services, ACT PREP, an eight-week OnToCollege Preparatory Program, and a two-day ACT Bootcamp. This past year, our ACAP assessment scores continued to be at the top of our system with our ELA scores leading our system with 38 students scoring the highest level 4 and 34 students scoring level 3.  Their performance was an increase of 209% from the prior school year.  These students were taught by Mrs. Bethany Mooneyham – Blount County School System’s Secondary Teacher of the Year for this school year.  This year, Cleveland High School, scored an 88 on the Alabama State Report Card – the highest score of any Blount County High School and the highest score in the history of Cleveland High School.  

We would like to brag on and congratulate the class of 2024 for their 100% graduation rate. As a whole, they were offered over $1.5 million in scholarships. These alumni have bright futures ahead of them and we cannot wait to see all they accomplish.
