Welcome to Cleveland High School

About Us

Here at Cleveland High School, we are very proud of our teachers, staff, and students for their dedication and hard work.  Our students have scored some of the highest scores on state testing in Blount County.  Our teachers work countless hours preparing our Juniors for ACT by providing tutoring services, ACT PREP, in-class preparation coursework, and a two-day ACT Bootcamp. This past year, our ACAP assessment scores continued to soar, with our ELA and science scores leading our system. Across the 7th and 8th grades that were assessed, 49 students scored the highest level, Level 4, and 40 students scored Level 3.  This year, Cleveland High School, scored a 90 on the Alabama State Report Card – the highest score in the history of Cleveland High School.

We would like to brag on and congratulate the class of 2024 for their 100% graduation rate. As a whole, they were offered over $1.5 million in scholarships. These alumni have bright futures ahead of them and we cannot wait to see all they accomplish.

We are proud to recognize Mrs. Emily Speakman as the 2024-2025 Cleveland High School Teacher of the Year! Mrs. Speakman presently teaches English language arts to our 11th and 12th grade students.
